GATE Project
The GATE project is a European project, funded under Interreg III, led by Forestry Commission Wales, looking at ways to increase the use of timber for construction, building new markets and adding value. The purpose of the website is to act as a communication channel to allow the sharing of knowledge and experience between the five partners, in Wales, Thuringen (Germany), Pomorskie (Poland), Estonia and Slovenia.
Particular features: Elements of the site are presented in five languages, including German, Polish and Slovakian. The site also includes a searchable database of stakeholders.
Development partners: The project was developed in close co-operation with Taliesin Communications, PR and marketing specialists, and the website design and build was by Technoleg Taliesin.
